Public consultation underway on updated Fawley Waterside masterplan

Fawley Waterside Limited is inviting the community, stakeholders and interested parties to have their say on updated proposals for the former Fawley Power Station site.

The emerging masterplan would transform the site into a modern hub for jobs, innovation and energy, with a commercial and employment-led development making use of its strategic location on the Solent.

The proposals include up to 190,000 sqm of floorspace for energy, digital, maritime, commercial and start-up uses, alongside new landscaping, improved pedestrian connections and measures to strengthen flood protection. The plans are also expected to support new jobs and skills opportunities across the region.

Following an initial consultation earlier this year, the second round of public consultation runs from 29 September to 18 October 2026, giving people the opportunity to review the developed masterplan and environmental information and provide feedback.
